    Mattress opinions

I had L5-S1 surgery and suffer with trochanteric bursitis being a side sleeper. Temperpedic mattresses are the only way I can still function. If you go with Temperpedic and need a Queen sized, consider getting a Queen split base. That will provide the added benefit of support down the...

More anti vaping marketing than anti cigs?

This is a because the tobacco industry is marketing vape to the kids. All the flavored crap-tacular stuff that has been introduced is directed towards younger users. So, the medical industry and anyone with common sense (rare nowadays, I know) is stopping this attempt by large tobacco to...

Any architects in the house need some help

This smells like a "brush off". They don't want to fuck with a job of low/minimal return. I'd suggest you try another architect and see if the "problem with the file" gets solved. Andrew

Any ideas on what this is?

Wonder if it is a "tool" for checking for case head separation grooves?? Admittedly, the hook is larger than I'd use. But just a thought. Andrew

    Question for Giraud Trimmer Owners

Yes... I get a shell holder and a cutter head set for each caliber. Then I change the lock rings to Hornady lock rings. Thus changing from caliber to caliber is simple 1 min operation and very consistent from use to use. Saves time, effort, and energy. Andrew

Thoughts on annealing 5.56 ammo for AR15

55gr Target Loads.... I clean, load and go. Those cases are avail around here by the 5gl bucket load. 75gr Long Range Loads..... Yes, I anneal after every firing. That brass is kept separate. Andrew

Gunsmithing Marking the barrel of a Rifle.

Maybe I'm obtuse..... If he turned the original logo or caliber off the barrel - no biggie. No real need to sweat that one. If he turned the reciver and removed the serial number - that can be a biggie. And the original serial number needs to be re-applied. Let us know which it is. Andrew

Whats the actual difference between these autotrickler setups

V3 Version with the Area 419 Clear Lid. I don't want 27,000 other thing hanging off the lid. And I don't need more bling to attach to it. If so, I'd just be-dazzle it. I have not seen the need to upgrade anything else in this system. It's quick, accurate, and clean. Andrew

To lube or not to lube....when seating bullets

My plan exactly. And I have documented that SD and ES are much improved with dipping bullets in Redding Dry Neck Lube before seating. Andrew

I'm an idiot and could use some help

Bet you're probably OK. Giraud recommends Templaq 450 stripe down the case head and 750 at the neck. So if you heated to 400F at the case head for a limited time. Bet you're OK. Take 5 cases, Load them 1gr or so below your usual load and test. Inspect the cases and "feel" the inside of...

PRS Talk Anyone using a phoneskope/phonecam to record during their stages?

Do yourself a favour.... concentrate on shooting and worry less about the quarterbacking during the stage. Take the time to video or "work on stuff" while dryfiring. Fellow competitors will appreciate a quick and timely stage. Farting around with a camera or a video and burning up time...
