Are PCCs "rifles" per this forum?

Steel Challenge a "gateway drug" hmmm? Sounds good! Been hunting but in September I'll be done and ready for Steel Challenge. There a LOT of 9 mm PCC guns out there, a LOT! My God, everyone with a garage is making them. But the best I've seen is the Brugget and Thomen PCCs with the hydraulic...

STOP BLAMING GUNS ! My rifle never jumped off chair and shot anyone,But Dems and idiots ,say they can..

We all know "Guns don't kill people, people kill people." BUT it's long past time to put age restrictions on who can legally buy and/or own semi-auto rifles sole with large capacity magazines or capable of utilizing large cap magazines. I'd say by age 21 the male brain is fully formed in terms...

Are PCCs "rifles" per this forum?

I hope PCC carbines (not "pistols') qualify here as rifles. Last November(2021) I bought a RUGER PC chassis carbine. Then I began upgrading it, which turned out to be fun but more upgrades than originally planned. So yeah, "upgrading guns" is addictive, as we all know. UPGRADES: 1.) M*CARBO->...

To PCC or not to PCC...?

I bought a RUGER PC chassis carbine in November of 2021. Since then I got it ready for Steel Challenge competition. UPGRADES: all M*CARBO internal and external parts, many MAGPUL parts like MBUS sights, pistol and fore grips, etc., TACCOM Delrin mag well, Midwest Industries folding stock...

    Night Vision Holosun AEMS

I have a HOLOSUN AEMS on my 9 mm RUGER PC chassis carbine and it is absolutely perfect for that use. Sage Dynamics (Youtube site) is testing the AEMS and it has so far survived four 5 ft. drops on cement while mounted on a carbine. He drops sights every 500 rounds. ** the HOLOSUN 509T (which is...

    HOLOSUN enclosed circle/dot sights

I own two HOLOSUN circle/dot sights. The 509T is on my RUGER 57 pistol and the AEMS is on my RUGER PC chassis carbine. Neither are a "cheap date" at over $400. each. **Sage Dynamics Youtube site has tested the 509T with 20(!!) 5 foot drops on concrete and it has survived with no zero shift. The...

Bluetooth integration for most scope brands?

Spoken like a true Luddite Chevy. But don't go smashing' anybody's Kestrel 5700s yet. All I'm saying is "science marches on" and we will very likely will see more of this as we do already in SIG, Bushnell and Horus Vision and probably soon Burris Eliminator III with Bluetooth connectivity. I...

Bluetooth integration for most scope brands?

SIG/Sauer's newest Sierra 6 BDX (Ballistic Data eXchange rifle scopes can give us accurate lighted elevation dots (145 dots!). And 47 horizontal windage dots on the horizontal reticle, but not inside the "Xmas tree". All this can come from Bluetooth enabled monocular or binocular rangefinders...

SOOO... can I ALSO pair and bond my KESTREL 5700 device so it works with the scope as well as the rangefinder?

    Sig BDX Scope Review

catorres 1, I once did buy a SIG Tango 6 for that Browning X-bolt Pro but, as you said, it was a boat anchor (34 oz.!) and a sin to put it on a 6 lb. 3 oz. rifle. so I sent it back to Optics Planet and told those communists to send me the Bushnell LRTSi 4.5 - 18 x 44 with G3 reticle. After...

Rifle Scopes Question on Sig Scopes and other "2nd Tier" brands

"Hondo64D" is correct. The Bushnell Elite scopes are EXCELLENT for the money. I compete with a Bushnell ERS 3.5 - 21 x 50 on my 6.5 CM Ruger Precision Rifle. On my 6.5 PRC Browning X-Bolt Pro mountain rifle I shoot a Bushnell Elite LRHS 4.5 - 18 x 44 W/ G3 illuminated "Xmas tree" reticle. Both...

    Sig BDX Scope Review

Had the SIG Sierra6 BDX 3 - 18 x 44 scope been out two years ago I would have bought it for my 6.5 PRC Browning X-Bolt Pro mountain rifle as its 23.8 oz. weight is light enough and its total tech package is amazing. Instead at that time I decided on the very good Bushnell Elite LRTS 4.5 -18 x...

    .22 Rimfire Squirrel Rifles

I really like my RUGER 96/22 Magnum lever gun. It has an octagonal Green Mountain barrel. The barrel change improved the accuracy. 40 grain polymer tipped jacketed bullets from Winchester/Bowning seem to work best. Next is a new WENIG stock with a classic cheekpiece.

US Army's new scopes for the next gen. assault rifle

I'm hurt, HURT I tell you, that so many are not taking this post seriously. Such rude replies are ungentlemanly - manly but ungentlemanly. Anyway, keep a sharp lookout for this new Army "targeting device" for the new unicorn assault rifle. Both sound pretty pie-in-the-sky. Hopefully the new...
