swarovski lrf 8x30 help
I suggest you move it around a bit in front of your eye first. As a previous poster noted, the reticle can disappear if you are not lined up correctly.- flyrodder

Where is the "wife's rifle" thread?
My wife has a pink and gray laminate stock on one of her .22 rifles, but she is a big fan of the classic: walnut and blued steel. Her current deer rifle is a Kimber 84 Classic Select in 7mm-08. With an 11-ounce Leupold VX-2, it is a very nice-handling, attractive rifle.- flyrodder

Speed vs accuracy in 7mm rem mag.
In my opinion, consistent accuracy is far more important than velocity. Suppressors Handguards that allow a recessed AE M5 fit
I've got a 8.5" 300 Blackout upper with a YHM handguard that covers most of the QD mount and my Phantom fits inside with room to spare. Subsonic 300 Blackout with H110
From what I've gathered from various sources, H110 is good for lighter bullets and supersonic, and AA1680 is the recommended subsonic powder. I played around a bit and this seems to be the case for my 8.5" upper, so I'm curious to see what you find.- flyrodder

Barrel length for supressor use.........
Shorter keeps the weight closer to you and makes it more manageable, especially for those of us with heavy cans. 300 Blackout at 8.5" is pretty slick, since the rifle-length handguard covers part of the can. Swarovski 8x30 Rangefinder Problem
You might try pressing Swarovski a bit. My range finder started giving erratic results and they said to send it back and wait the 8 weeks or so. 280 Ackley Improved
I've had good luck with 140 Nosler Ballistic Tips, 140 E-Tips, and 150 E-Tips all over IMR 4831 for hunting loads.
