    Not so fast on that one. The place was recommended to them and has a o.k. reputation. Nothing horrible that I've heard of. When the PD got the guns back they looked all good to go. There was no way the PD guys have tools or the ability to check bolt clearance or poor muzzle crown work etc...

    No that is BB material as well. BBA is the 2nd heat lot of the BB material we received so added a A. We have in house our 3rd lot as well.

    So for these last two guns I was going to give them back to them with the old mounts on them and just couldn't do it. One rifle had two shims underneath the back of the mount and the other rifle the mount was bowed/bent call it what you want. So I took the old mounts off and put more EGW's on...

    Yes we make barrel blanks for Cadex. Are you asking if the round is lower pressure than a 50BMG? If so I want to say that each run at similar pressures. Both are in the low 50k range. I have not seen any current commercial load data to give any thought there.

    So this should be the last update... Guns #6 and #7 were brought in last Thursday. John just finished going thru #6... bad muzzle crown and bolt only had .005" clearance. Working on #7 now... that one the crown looks pretty good but John is going to cut it off and rethread it so it matches...

    Again some calibers will foul more than others... both in terms of carbon and copper. The biggest thing in my opinion with the carbon is if you get a heavy carbon build up it can bump pressures and effect velocity.
