    Talked to a nightforce rep today and after consulting with one of their engineers he found the answer to the above question. The lever is linear, so if you move it 1/2 way, it is 1/2 of a .1 mil or .05 mils....1/4 over would be .025 mils, etc. Talk about a fine adjustment! That alone makes me...

    I have been running the barnes 145 lrx in my 280ackley. They have been very accurate 1/2-3/4 moa. They make a 6.5 127gr lrx that you might want to check out.

    If you are buying a 28" barrel to shoot elr with berger 230s you may also want to try and get a custom twist. 9.5 or 9.75 will stabilize 230s much better than a 10. A lot of the guys shooting 300 norma have gone to a faster twist for the heavies such as the 230s 240smk etc.
