For really long range, a 40 MOA mount is a must - A 40 MOA mount causes the scope to zero almost at the bottom of it's adjustment range giving you about 18 MILs of useable adjustment. My 6.5 CM reached 1000M with 9.8 MIL, giving me enough adjustment to reach beyond effective range.

The Diamond pull wt for sure, although both have very workable ranges. Either one could actually do well.

The safe way I de-burr this kind of stuff is with Cratex polishing bits in my dremel. (www.cratex.com) Should be easy.

I have been using 42.7gn of IMR 4451 under the Norma Golden Target 130, & CCI BR2 in the Prime brass. This gives me 2675fps and duplicates the Prime Factory ammo in my RPR. It seems to be a tight barrel but very accurate with this load. -G

You are correct - to change to 6.5CM is only a barrel change, but you will need go/no-go gauges if you change it yourself. -G
