Im starting to reload for my new rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. I have some experience reloading 308 in the past.

From what Ive read H4350 is a very popular powder for the 6.5 CM but everywhere locally seems to be sold out because of it's popularity. Are there other good powders I can look for?

Rifle is an AI AT with a 22 inch Gradous barrel. I have Hornady once fired brass and 140 grain SMKs.

H4350, Hogdon hybrid 100V, Reloder 16 are three I have tested and all have great precision potential and velocity with 140gr range projectiles. H hybrid 100V has more temperature sensitivity than the other two mentioned.

I have been using 42.7gn of IMR 4451 under the Norma Golden Target 130, & CCI BR2 in the Prime brass. This gives me 2675fps and duplicates the Prime Factory ammo in my RPR. It seems to be a tight barrel but very accurate with this load. -G

IMR 4350 is a great powder for 6.5 that people don't really talk about. It's hardly ever sold out. I have had success with 123-147 grain projectiles.

So far, my CTR in 6.5 Creed likes the 139-147 gr bullets. Most accurate with 139 scenar, 140 and 147gr ELD-M. I use Norma MRP and RL26 for max velocity and most accurate. Granted mine is a measly 20” tube. But I am getting 2700 FPS from a 139 gr scenar with less than max charges.

42.2 of RL16 with 142 SMK .025 off lands in 28" barrel produce 2885 fps and low single digit SDs and sub 1/2 moa groups out to 1080 so far.
