    I’ve found a bunch of the matches out west a double pull is super useful on many stages. That said if you already have a triple, bringing that and using a single most of the day would probably work.

    No I exclusively run a brake now for competitions and training. Back 6-7 years ago when I ran one I don’t remember it being much different (I still didn’t clean) but I wasn’t as data focused so it’s more just anecdotal.
