I run the Fehu Outdoors Tilpasse. Designed by a PRS shooter for matches. Good guy with great products. Opens completely with individual cell on the inside. It will also support a tripod on the outside. https://www.fehuoutdoors.com/product-page/customizable-match-backpack
A lot of good advice here. The biggest thing I tell new shooters is not to pick a .308. If your looking at PRS style competition in the future, it is all about spotting you shot. You can do it with a .308 but you will learn slowly, and you will be frustrated. Most shooters that quit after 1 or 2...
I shot on a squad last week with a guy with the MPA DN5 last week. He said on the gun wasn’t so bad and that we got a lot less muzzle jump/flip. However I have RO’d a lot. I have been around a lot of brakes. That thing is miserable. I literally missed his 2nd shot because I was still trying to...
The glass is much better on the gen 3. It’s is clearer, brighter and crisper. I see much more trace in the gen 3. I currently run the gen 2 on my club gun and the Gen 3 on match gun. I run the 3 at 18 power and the 2 at 15 power most stages. The field of view is about the same at those...
Consider the higher magnification scopes will have a thinner (finer) reticle. This keeps the reticle usable at the highest power. I have a gen2 and gen3 Razor. With both at 15 power the gen2 (27 power) is easier to see. I run the gen 3 at a higher power to keep the reticle clearer for my old...
@Potsy @MinnesotaMulisha I totally missed the threaded part. You are right that will be a real unicorn factory gun. It’s gonna be hard to find a barrel thick enough to thread without going over 7.5 pounds.

They sent me a picture of the assembled chassis. 2.5 just like @TheOE800 called it. They make their own butt stocks. Also a chance they are going to come out with a lighter tube for mounting the buttstock. Edited for spellcheck
A local Albuquerque company S2Delta has released a new chassis. It’s 1 pound without the buttstock and grip. The owners of the company are good guys and active in supporting our local matches...
Two vets with an anvil 30. If just matches use a 2 section. I also hunt off mine so I have the 3 section. As mentioned the Two vets company and owners are top notch folk.
My friend runs nothing but Kelblys. Atlas and a couple of Prometheus. We live and shoot in fine New Mexican dust. His actions run just as well as my impacts. I’ve never seen them bind or have issues regardless of the conditions. They are ridiculously smooth.
yes I agree they spendy. But they will be the last pair you buy. Less than a new rifle… or hearing aids. The way the owner explained them to me, the entry level is like Fm radio, the top of the line is like high quality surround sound. When you’re wearing them, very natural sound, it’s like...
I use ESP America. They have several different models they all might be considered pricey But they work and are comfortable enough for all day wear. I hunt in them as well as use them for competitions. Batteries will get me through a full two day completion at 8 hours a day for 3 days. I’d say...
I hunt off an OG game changer with gitlite. I use occasionally at matches. It’s about 75% as stable as my heavy landfill schmedium. Lust misses that deep sink feeling the sand has. I wouldn’t hesitate to use it for a youngster
If I was buying new today it’d be the xero. Out of what you listed it be the magneto speed. It’s what I use now, and it does affect. Group sizes. But whatever group is smallest with it on, is smallest with it off.
I like the Ace brake. And I have hunted with it. It is loud (all the good ones are) and even though I think it’s the one of the most gentle on the shooter, hunt with quality ear pro.
