I have about 100 FC 308 brass that have crimped primers. I can remove them but need to know if
their is any way to open the primer whole enough to accept an new primer?
Thanks guys. I was hoping for someone to come up with some statistics to show that this would be impossible. This is mostly likely a long shot but I'm looking for something to take to the meeting.

We have a problem here in Honolulu. Their is only one public range which had steel set at 250, 300 & 450yds.
They have just shut down all but 100yds paper because a person has claimed that a .30 ricochet off of steel plate traveled up 226 yds over a hill then traveled 2550 yds where it hit a...
My experience is that they like a jump of about .030. 175 SMK, 43gr BL-C)2)
100yds 5 shots of which was one was a choke on my part.
My rifle built on a Remington 700.
I use 43gr of BL-C(2) 24" barrel, 175 SMK. MV 2500 fps 500' ASL, 84 temp. I get about 12 reloads from the brass and get Ies wear and tear on the rifle.
For my hot loads BL-C(2) 45.8gr. MV 2675.
100 yds, 5 shots 2500 fps 175 SMK
I notice that I get small amount of powder just inside of the neck. It's sticking to the lube. I use a lube pad and twist the necks on the pad to lube.
