After comparing the Magnus and Magnus-RR, would it be safe to say one picks-up between 6 to 10 dB at shooters ear one when choosing the RR version? Seems like a fairly significant loss in suppression, though recoil reduction looks great.
Appears the case over pressure plugs have been added to the new AT-X action. Also appears the mil version cerakote the action the same color as the chassis, definitely a nice touch.
Hopefully we’ll see the short fore end AT-X make their way to civilian market. Would be curious if they decided to use the competition or standard AX trigger.
Thank you for the excellent response. You summed everything up, there was a marked improvement in glass quality on previous 5x25 pmii I have owned, and thought the parallax adjustment was superior. It does appear that the PFL-5 retiticle should make for an adequate replacement of the Mil-C...
After reading most of this thread, and with current sale price that Eurooptic, do you guys still consider this they buy. From what I’m reading, there is neutered FOV on the low end, but use for long and extended ranges the scope should be fine. Currently run a NF 7-35 which has been good to me...
Excellent news Jack hearing the KS-1 uppers should be available. Hopefully some of the 16“ 6.5 uppers start making their way to market. Have a CRS that I’m sure will work great with one.
Thats a smoking price on the AT-X. Does make one a little leary pulling the trigger on one then 4 months from now the latest iteration arrives and you’re thinking damn I should’ve waited. Personally wanted to see the AT-X with a shorter front rail.
