Buy or Build a sturdy workbench/reloading bench?

Unfortunately I just have my garage which I planned to insulate and have a mini split installed to cool it down. I don’t really have any room in the house for a dedicated reloading room.

Buy or Build a sturdy workbench/reloading bench?

Sturdy enough for a Dillon progressive press and my single stage forester.

Buy or Build a sturdy workbench/reloading bench?

I was leaning towards buying but it seems difficult to find a short enough bench for sitting that is super sturdy. Any suggestions?

Buy or Build a sturdy workbench/reloading bench?

Thanks for the offer but probably a little rich for my blood. It will be a sit down bench.

Buy or Build a sturdy workbench/reloading bench?

I just moved into a new home with a large, 3 car garage. I need a workbench that can be dual purpose - a general bench for random house projects, and second, a sturdy bench that I can mount 2 or more reloading presses, with enough room for other reloading odds and ends. Previously, I used a...

Case runout of fired brass worse after annealing? age?

What's odd is that this same brass fired in this same chamber always gives runout of 0.001 or less (most 0.0005). After annealing and firing, the runout is now 0.002-0.0025 with this brass.

Case runout of fired brass worse after annealing? age?

Forster FL honed to a custom size for my turned brass. The issue though, is that my fired brass seems to have increased runout.

Case runout of fired brass worse after annealing? age?

Annealing was done on a Bench Source.

Case runout of fired brass worse after annealing? age?

Hoping you can solve this enigma. My typical case runout for fired Lapua neck turned brass is 0.001 or better. Prior to the latest firing, I annealed the brass and shot it it. After firing it (before resizing it) I was surprised to see runout around 0.002-0.0025. Resizing it kept it about the...

Rifle Scopes S&B 12-50x FFP vs 5-25x - downsides (other than obvious) of ultra mag scope?

The 12-50x scope has a FOV at 12x of 13.5 feet, whereas the FOV for the 5-25x at 5x is 17.8 feet. Is there really a big difference in FOV between 13.5 and 17.5 feet?

Rifle Scopes S&B 12-50x FFP vs 5-25x - downsides (other than obvious) of ultra mag scope?

I am thinking about picking up a high powered scope for a 6xc that will be shot from 100-600 yards. I am a sucker for magnification (I have a NF 12-42 NXS) and will be shooting mostly groups (no steel or tactical comps at my range). Every thread seems to discourage people from buying ultra high...

Did I over anneal my brass? help!

So, I did some more testing at a slightly longer dwell time (4.5 secs). At that speed, the flame turns to yellow about 0.5-0.75 sec before it moves off the spindle. The case mouth glows a slight dark red just as it leaves the flame. See the attached picture of case. It shows a slight gray mark...

Did I over anneal my brass? help!

The problem with the Tempilaq 650 I am finding is no matter how thin I put it on, it just turns black, not clear. This is on the outside of the case. Am I looking for when it turns clear, or starts to melt? As for the Tempilaq 400, it just starts to melt and then turn a slight brownish color at...

Did I over anneal my brass? help!

So, I repeated the test with spare brass. I left the height of the torches and torch intensity the same. Currently, I annealed at 3.8 secs and the case neck remains dark (with lights turned off) as it leaves spindle. At 4.5 secs, I see a very slight dark red glow just as it leaves the spindle...
