For sale is essentially new PMII with MSR reticle. No locking turrets or MTC. It's seen maybe 500 rounds from a 6.5mm AR. No issues whatsoever with glass or anything else. Have not dismounted so unsure if ring marks or not. Price is $2000 (Not interested in trades) Paypal is ok, but you'll...

Rifle Scopes Tangent Theta reticle update request thread

Since authoring this thread, I've competed for 2 years with a Kahles AMR which I've come to really really like. The H59 and Minox MR4 are also quite nice. I'm not recommending TT add another ~$500 to the cost of an already-pricey scope by using Horus, but if they'd incorporate a 2/10 mil based...

Suppressors New TTF suppressor - how many rounds before it's "match ready"?

Quick follow up: Suppressor was flawless and seems to be quieting down with use. Accuracy is tip top, and my zero remains rock solid after many on/offs over the course of the training class. Was f'n great during the lowlight/night ops portion.

    AT stock sides

Very cool, Rich! I'll be buying an AT in the next year, and am glad to see I'll be able to get the thumbhole sides to work.

Suppressors New TTF suppressor - how many rounds before it's "match ready"?

I've put a few rounds through suppressed rifles on several different occasions, including trying other guy's cans on my own rifles. Each time I came away thinking "Damn, that's a lot more recoil than with the brake". Not this time. Hardly any more recoil at all than with my brake. Very...

Suppressors New TTF suppressor - how many rounds before it's "match ready"?

Well, the answer seemed to be "one". POI shift of .1 downward. Took can off, put it back on, etc etc. Its repeatable. Was the same on my buddys rifle. Velocity jumped ~15-20fps for both rifles. Looks like its totally good to go.

    Kawasaki H2 - 998cc, supercharged, 300HP

I think the OEMs use positive displacement blowers because they're a lot easier to package - particularly on "V" engines where they nestle in real nice in the valley - even room for a charge cooler in there. For smaller engines that need to "act" like bigger engines - turbos are [obviously]...

    Kawasaki H2 - 998cc, supercharged, 300HP

I predict we'll see 2 strokes come back in a BIG way once gasoline direct injection becomes more prolific. 2 strokes have way fewer moving parts and are far simpler machines than 4 strokes. Their power/weight and power/displacement ratios are untouchable by a 4 stroke. The problem? There is no...

Suppressors New TTF suppressor - how many rounds before it's "match ready"?

I am going to a ~400 round training class this weekend, and I just picked up my new TTF Archangel yesterday afternoon. I'll have the chance to check POI shift (and repeatability) and velocity tonight, and put probably 20 rounds through it. I'll be able to go out Wednesday afternoon and put...

    6.5 cartridges

I don't have a 6.5SLR to use as a comparison, but I do have a 6mm SLR. Between a 6mm Creedmoor, 6x47, 6xc, 6SLR and 243, there is no appreciable accuracy difference. I've seen them all shoot 1 hole at 100, and shoot sub 1/2 moa group at 1000 yards. Honestly, I can't say I'd really recommend...

How many rounds through a chronograph for best results?

This is really a statistics question. In the field of six sigma, there are varying opinions of how large a sample population must be for you to run a good statistical analysis. Usually that number is between 25 and 35 - and that's IF you can truly consider your sample population "random"...
