    300 Win Mag Paint

Re: 300 Win Mag Paint Excellent for hunting from inside a herd of zebras. I like it, it looks edgy. If they wanted exotic they got it. Is it going to be a range queen or see some action?

Any 6.5x55 fans out there? (My budget rifle)

Re: Any 6.5x55 fans out there? (My budget rifle) The whole point is they're supposed to last forever. :-D

    EGW 20MOA Base

Re: EGW 20MOA Base I'm using Burris Signature Zee rings with offset inserts (I did check to make sure they were aligned correctly.) I put the nuts on the left side, opposite to the action. I wouldn't rule myself out of making a really elementary mistake, I'm a beginner, to say the least.

Any 6.5x55 fans out there? (My budget rifle)

Re: Any 6.5x55 fans out there? (My budget rifle) Wow, that must be an old-school Nightforce box. I've bought two different NXS's recently and they've really changed the style.

Re: DTA SRS - Return to Zero Testing Interesting gun and a good write up. The results were great but the writer is definitely a bit biased. :-D

    EGW 20MOA Base

I mounted up an EGW 20MOA base the other day, bore sighted the 10/22, and took it to the range. It was shooting pretty far to the right...so I adjusted it a bit. Not much improvement...adjusted it more. Long story short, I ran out of windage adjustment. What could I have done wrong here? I'm...

    'Sniperize' surplus rifles?

Re: 'Sniperize' surplus rifles? Hour of Angle, that's priceless. To sniperize a Mosin Nagant, just make sure it has a healthy looking bore and rock the iron sights.

    Accuracy International Pics

Re: Accuracy International Pics Some more...before anyone says anything the houses in the reticle are very far away. It's kind of humbling...you realize how difficult it is to point one of these guns in a "safe direction". I've been messing around on Google Earth trying to figure out exactly...

10 Day wait OVER! here she is AW

Re: 10 Day wait OVER! here she is AW Beautiful setup and beautiful shooting. I just picked up my AE308 Mk II with a Nightforce optic, kind of the baby brother to your rig. Just 40 rounds in, I'm really pleased with it. I can already tell the Accuracy International is the kind of rifle you...

    Accuracy International Pics

Re: Accuracy International Pics Shot my AE 308 Mk II today..wow, what a joy. The operation of the bolt wouldn't have sold me dry practicing in a store, but it felt beautiful in practice. Accuracy was good from the bench with a bipod and rear bag, but I'm new to high power rifles so I don't...

Finally took the plunge on a .308

Re: Finally took the plunge That's a great rifle, and its hard to argue with the price. Put some high quality glass on there if you can and tear it up!
