    Night Vision IR illuminator wavelength

Wow. $1500. You guys are in for treat when you see the Oslon black led in action. It has a square of illumination, not a circle. Using my spotter with the ir illumination switched off and the camera and 7"screen turned on. I can test my illuminators for how far they can throw. I have put that...

    Night Vision IR illuminator wavelength

I just googled the Dbal A2. It is a laser. I have no experience with lasers. I have never seen a laser in action. I believe that the area of illumination is very small. The illuminators I make cover a much larger area. Sorry I can not help you with an answer to your question. Cheers

    Night Vision IR illuminator wavelength

Hi Guys I make Infra Red illuminators for night hunting. Started as a hobby has now turned into a business. The 850nm ir led of choice is the Oslon Black with the S at the end of the product number. It is the best thing there is right now. I make three different types of illuminators now...

Re: Tapping 1/2" UNF Action truing jig. Help All 12 holes are now tapped. It must be a good quality HSS tap, as it tapped the last hole with the same effort as the first. I reckon I will take the back plate and Jig to the local welder and have them weld it with the correct Nickel rods. I am...

Gunsmithing Tapping 1/2" UNF Action truing jig. Help

Re: Tapping 1/2" UNF Action truing jig. Help UkShooter. I should have said cast iron. When I was turning the diameter of the faceplate, it did not cut like steel, i.e like strands of steel spiralling from the cutting face. It was a black almost like a thick powder consistency., or maybe...

Gunsmithing Tapping 1/2" UNF Action truing jig. Help

Re: Tapping 1/2" UNF Action truing jig. Help Well guys. I took the plunge and went out to my workshop and tapped three holes using a good oil. I have to say it was not hard. The tap cut with a 3/4 turn forward then back 1/4 turn. UK Shooter. I intended to use the tap to also cut threads for...

Gunsmithing Tapping 1/2" UNF Action truing jig. Help

Re: Tapping 1/2" UNF Action truing jig. Help The tube drilled very easy with a 29/64 MT 1 new drill. I lubricated all the way through the drilling process on each hole. I was surprised how easy it drilled. I have read horror stories regarding working with stainless. I got my hands on two...

Gunsmithing Tapping 1/2" UNF Action truing jig. Help

I have got the point where I have my 12 holes drilled in my action truing jig and I am ready to tap the holes. I have recessed a faceplate to accept the 316 stainless steel tube. I intend to weld the tube to the faceplate. The tube has a 3/4" wall thickness. I would be very grateful for any...

Re: D1-4 mounted directly to action jig? Can someone please advise on which blank from the below list would be the best one to make my jig from. I am hoping to have a bit off cut from the blank to make a spider which will be fitted to another D1-4 faceplate. pipe 1 105mm od x 50mm nominal...

Gunsmithing Hawkeye borscope angled eyepiece. Worth it?

Re: Hawkeye borscope angled eyepiece. Worth it? I feel a bit stupid relating to the question above 90 and 45 degree. I worked it out pretty quick. I purchased the Hawkeye scope which is the smaller tube version with the 45 Degree eye piece. I pick it up tomorrow. I got lucky with the price...
