    Night Vision IR illuminator wavelength

I just googled the Dbal A2. It is a laser. I have no experience with lasers. I have never seen a laser in action. I believe that the area of illumination is very small. The illuminators I make cover a much larger area. Sorry I can not help you with an answer to your question. Cheers

Re: Tapping 1/2" UNF Action truing jig. Help All 12 holes are now tapped. It must be a good quality HSS tap, as it tapped the last hole with the same effort as the first. I reckon I will take the back plate and Jig to the local welder and have them weld it with the correct Nickel rods. I am...

Gunsmithing Tapping 1/2" UNF Action truing jig. Help

Re: Tapping 1/2" UNF Action truing jig. Help UkShooter. I should have said cast iron. When I was turning the diameter of the faceplate, it did not cut like steel, i.e like strands of steel spiralling from the cutting face. It was a black almost like a thick powder consistency., or maybe...

Gunsmithing Tapping 1/2" UNF Action truing jig. Help

Re: Tapping 1/2" UNF Action truing jig. Help The tube drilled very easy with a 29/64 MT 1 new drill. I lubricated all the way through the drilling process on each hole. I was surprised how easy it drilled. I have read horror stories regarding working with stainless. I got my hands on two...

Gunsmithing Hawkeye borscope angled eyepiece. Worth it?

Re: Hawkeye borscope angled eyepiece. Worth it? I feel a bit stupid relating to the question above 90 and 45 degree. I worked it out pretty quick. I purchased the Hawkeye scope which is the smaller tube version with the 45 Degree eye piece. I pick it up tomorrow. I got lucky with the price...

Gunsmithing D1-4 mounted directly to action jig?

Re: D1-4 mounted directly to action jig? Am I right in thinking that you should mill a slot on the opposite side of the slot for the bolt handle. Would this not make the jig more balanced when then the lathe is running at faster speeds. I am sure I read where someone was thinking of putting...
