    You can push over 3100 if you want. For powder 4350 and H4831sc are easy buttons. N160 and 5 are pretty accurate as is 7828ssc. Magpro screams but is temp sensitive.

    87 grain VMAX ideal velocity .243

    I used the old 55 Nosler BT to try to reach 4k fps, in a 1:10 Ruger #1, bullet wouldn’t make it to 100. I shot a porcupine at 20 yds and the devastation was basically unbelievable. 3800 is probably getting to the north end of the envelope, especially since 1:9 is more vogue today.
