    Suppressed AR15, Heavy Buffers????

I have a few AR's that I occaisionally shoot suppressed. They work fine with the standard buffers. However, I do not want to put undo stress on the action or bolt. Any suggestions or helpful comments would be greatly appreciated.

    Case Prep for AR15, X-die

Re: Case Prep for AR15, X-die Your FL die will do everything. Typically you full length size the case everytime on AR platforms, and neck size your bolt guns.

    Stupid mistake

Re: Stupid mistake I don't think you will have an issue, factory barrels usually have a deeper throught. I use a hornady case trimmer and you could use it with a primed case. You might try loading a case in your rifle. Load and shoot!!

    Remington rifle/ Remington Ammo

Re: Remington rifle/ Remington Ammo I think the best out of the box load is the federal 168 MK, or 174 MK. I have never heard of anything substantial from Remi. I would take some time and develop loads that your weapon likes.

    Savage Hog Hunter in .308

Re: Savage Hog Hunter in .308 It would probably be ok for close hog work, I don't think it will be a long range shooter.
