We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
I don’t want to necro-post, but I just waded through 12 pages of this thread. What sucked me in was the initial comments about the SPR A3G’s not really bring worth a damn to the FBI. So this comment caught my attention. Here is why. About the same timeframe as above 12-15 years ago, we took...
I am not familiar with the 419 stuff. On the R8 Professional we run, the only way to mount to that forend was to bolt and screw through the stock. In the end, I just went with a GRS Ragnarok chassis which comes with all kinds of MLOK and rail hard points. I put a small ARCA rail on the bottom...
We paint a lot of workings guns. I go from light to dark paint wise. And I tend to “stripe” my colors. All black guns stick out terribly. Especially at range. And once you get into NV stuff, you’ll have to check your paint to confirm it doesn’t make things worse under NODs. Marky
Agreed. I have an r8 and a tac 2. Easy to change barrels and calibers. I could easily change in the field. For me, it would be more of changing barrels for different types of hunting. On my tactical rig, intend to stick with what I showed up with. But no reason I couldn't change in the field...
Back from the dead. So install the stud to get the tango down part. Interesting. Another question. I have located a very nice looking bipod in Europe made by Roedale. It uses the Versaplug. One question I have I'd the Roedale bipod might slip when loaded? The feet seem like quite a large...
Seriously? WTF? HAHAHAHA! You didn't say you already had 6.5 Sweede running. Ok. If you are reloading 6.5 Sweede, why not just do that? If you want a 6-6.5 bullet. There are also lots of Sweede factory options. There are also factory 300WM match options. I still think you should stick...
I generally agree with the above post. They are big. Really big. As such, most feel they are very soft-shooting. There are also known issues with some "American made" factory ammo not fitting in the mags. Why? The truth is they made that pistol to a NATO standard. But not all ammo is equal...
Unless you live are living out at 1 mile (70-80-90%) of your shooting, I'm not so sure you shouldn't get the 300WM. You really can do A LOT with 300wm. If you must go 338 or 300 Norma, I would suggest buying used. I tend to notice quite a few high-end elephant calibers in the forsake section...
