Re: coyote hunting question Look at a fox pro spitfire. you can pick one up for about $200. They are worth every penny. You can also use a cheap decoy. This will help beginers alot. It helps focus the coyotes vision on something other than you. then go out as often as you can. Learn to play...
Re: Issues with my Savage 10FP Have had the same problem with my m10pc. When you work the bolt hard it clicks to half cock. Have not had the problem with engaging the trigger just when shuting the bolt fast.
Re: coyote caller? for entry level start with the fox pro spitfire. Pretty reasonable, I paid $200 for mine. This is what i use and have had great luck. Mine came preprogramed with 24 sounds. If you want to change them you can buy new sounds on fox pro's website.
Re: 223 rifle how to choose..... i shoot a savage model 10 pc 1:9 twist. Havn't had it long, but it love sierra 69 grain match kings. It has a little more room to seat the larger bullets to the lands. and the clip will allow a 2.74 length case. plenty for a .223
