Ask stupid questions, get stupid answers. I asked I very specific question, looking for a very specific answer. If you can help, great. If you can’t, that’s fine too. But not interested in getting in a conversation about how 1.54” is “standard” height. Or why I don’t need anything higher that...
Im pretty sure I know the answer because I’ve looked and looked, with no luck. But looking for a 20 MOA scope mount with a height taller than 1.54” for an AR set-up.
You should start your own business since you know so much about manufacturing 101, make those barrels/guns you know you could for a 1/3 less and sell them for what they’re sell theirs for. Imagine the amount of demand there’d be for a quality built complete rifle with a carbon Proof Research...
Sorry I thought within the industry (especially in the USA) when we talk about quality carbon barrels, an obvious brand came to mind. As was already stated by another member, look at the price of a carbon barrel blank. No machine work what so ever, just a barrel blank. Proof blanks go for $730+...
If only there was a high end carbon fiber barrel manufacturer that made both threaded centerfield and 10/22 barrels to compare prices and your logic 🤔. Darn I guess we’ll never know 🤷🏼♂️
It’s odd you say you like mil better than moa due to eye sight, I’m the exact opposite. Granted all my person guns are Razor Gen 2 and the mil scope i shoot is a Mark 8 on a work gun (so not the same exact manufacturer), but I find myself getting lost knowing whether I’m on .2 or .3, as well as...
Sounds like the trigger isn’t resetting, it’s staying in the fired/rearward position. Putting the safety on, is pushing down on the back of trigger, assisting in it resetting. Take the upper off, pulling the trigger, while keeping it depressed, push the hammer back (like it would under firing)...
I would agree 100%. And your data mimics almost exactly what’s been documented time and time again in other posts. The BR variants stay around the .003-.005 per 100 range and the bigger case capacity 6’s stay in the .005-.007 range. I actually just did a ton of research/forum reading on the...
So I’ve searched through multiple past posts, and I know the consensus is most prefer load development with fire formed brass, as the added velocity with fire formed has kicked them out of their node (found with virgin brass) and they had to reduce their load to get back into it. My question, is...
Anyone have any real world data on this ammunition? I like the idea of breaking in and fireforming Lapua brass from this ammo. It’s FPS is alittle slower than others, but curious if those numbers are on the conservative side. Perfect world, if it shot 3000fps and 1/2moa, I’d just get my 500...
