I have been using a demo WTP for over a month now. The image clarity can differ from tube to tube same as in standard NV tech, but i will agree with MCB223 that the WPT is much easier on the eyes. They both have the same limitations and advantages it seems. you can not see anything any better...
I read your original thread... Very funny, just wanted to clarify to anyone considering a purchase that they are indeed two different units with two different purposes. Comparison of 2 different units Image, I get that but what I have issue with is dealers using your thread sir to compare...
It doesn't matter of someone fabricated a mount. Even if the mount was designed so the elevation and windage adjustment was in the mount, the unit was never designed for weapons use period.
L3 LWTS vs M18 640 This entire thread is invalid, the M18 is not a rifle scope or a weapons mountable unit. See the T-70 vs LWTS thread... SPI has mentioned on that thread they would mail me a demo unit to compare the 2 for an un bias opinion yet when I call them they can't make it...
outside, black shoot-n-see on a white background in sunlight works well as the dark target retains heat that the white background doesn't. indoor range, I tape quarters to a standard paper target and heat them slightly with a lighter this also works really well.
