Gunsmithing Anyone here do EDM hole cutting on barrels?
I have done some work like this over the years. I didn't have access to EDM stuff so I had to come up with a burrless way to do it. Measure just short of and just past where you want your holes. Knock pure lead sinkers down the bore with a wooden dowel, easier than you think, to fill the area...- jwSubMOA

More for trivia. Useless unless you throat your barrel for this. I have a 16" Defiance 45 Raptor I got from another member. I was much more interested in very heavy subsonic loads than the 250gr high velocity loads. To accommodate this I throated my barrel to accommodate up to a 635gr bullet...- jwSubMOA

CZ 750 S1M1
I can't find pics yet, but I had two of the much more exotic and rarer CZ700 M1, also in .308. The 750 is essentially a two lug Mauser action. The 700 has 6 rear lugs and a 30 degree throw.
