So, like some others, I've been having the bolt ride over the rounds with various magazines. With all the magazines, the bolt barely touches the mag follower. I think some of our mag catches must be a tad short. I tried Bravo6niner's solution in post 2337 of loosening the bolt catch assembly...

Interesting question, because I'm guessing the answers will vary. I, too, assumed the metal ones would work better, but I actually prefer the function of the plastic ones. I could be wrong, but they just seem to cycle more consistently in my rifle. On the other hand, the plastic mags are 10...

The QD bipod latch looks really nice. Is there any reason one would prefer the older "thumb screw" version over the QD latch?

Pardon my ignorance, but what scope mount are you using on that Wilson 18"? Looks like a nice fit.

Jeff quoted 4 months, but mine came back in about 2 months. I sent him a bolt and carrier group as well, so he confirmed headspace and adjusted the gas block before sending the barrel back. Very pleased with the results so far. I plan to attach a can and see how the gas block works soon.

I sent a donor .308 barrel to River's Bend Gun Company (Jeff Hayes) and he installed a 22" Bartlein barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor. I'm still in the process of breaking it in, but I can already tell my groups will be way tighter than any of my stock LMT barrels.
