Re: Which Remington 700 in 308? the only reason the aac-sd has a 1 in 10 twist it to stablize sub sonic bullets. go with the xtreme conditions rifle. will take the abuse of new shooters and rain and still shoot 175 smk prety as pie. nuf said
Re: Please recommend a good rifle for a noob i would recomend the REM 700 XCR LONG RANGE. comes in 223 and has 1 in 9 twist. stainless with black finnish on top to keep her nice after a rain. aka weather resistent. little expencive for you maby but worth every penny.
