    Building an action

I have several receivers that I made and are now built into rifles from 260 Rem to 50 BMG The last operation I would do was cut the tenon thread in the receivers due to distortions from metal removal like ejection port, magazine opening. What material are you using? What will the finished...

Are you neck sizing or full length resizing with each reload?

ACCURACY INTL 2.0 on a 30-06 long action?

Make a tool like this to bend magazine lips, this one I made for tuning High Standard magazines, but will work on a mags. The slot is .030

7mm RM... Marginally or significantly more capable then .260?

The gain is closer to 7% in case capacity and velocity gains. 260 Rem. has 53.5 grains of water, the Ackley has 57.4 grains.

7mm RM... Marginally or significantly more capable then .260?

My receiver is a based on the Rem. 700 that I made and have no issues with feeding.

    260Rem is awesome!!

    A 260 and a 6.5mm are both the same, bullets measure .264

7mm RM... Marginally or significantly more capable then .260?

I am shooting a 260Ai using 123 smk's with a velocity of 3,000+ from a 27" Shilen barrel. Using 260 Lapua brass, the shell on the left in the photo is a 260 ready for fire forming, and you can see the OAL is much longer the form Ackley shell on the right.

    Anyone seen these bullets?

These are Lapua's I had laying around for years.

The barrel on my friends tr.net rifle which he waited 2 years for was only torqued to approximately 5-10 ft lbs. The reason why it was loose was due to the threads being .025 undersize along with the thread engagement into the receiver being 2 threads short. Instead of the 11/16" engagement...

All you wanabe snipers only wish you could do the work that tr.net does. If Mark in Florida has someone hold his rifle while he grabs the barrel of the tr.net rifle he owns, and turns it counterclockwise with a sudden jerk there's a chance the barrel then can be unscrewed. I tried this with...

TR.net does some outstanding machine work which you won't find anywhere else. Maybe someone can enlarge this photo so you can really see the close tolerance machining. I am not sure if it's a 60 deg. American vee thread or a 45 deg. buttress thread.

    (CLOSED) **ROUND3 !!** (100YARD+) , Bolt-Action, 6group, 30round SHOOTOUT!

There is a Redding .259 bushing in that die and what the tool does is deprime and resize the neck for loading again. It does not full length or bump the shoulder back, as I can easily get 1/2 dozen loading before I get a bolt click and then it's time to bump the shoulder back .001

I don't know what your throat angle is, mine is 1.5 deg. and a 8 ogive bullet will touch the lands at 2.156 oal. I load mine 2.161 (.005 into the lands) .262 neck and I run .0015 neck clearance. Are you fire forming 220 Russian cases? Get yourself a nut cracker neck sizer/de-primer die like...
