    Ok I was wrong about this, or perhaps with new updates it does actually work now. You can have both the vectors and kestrel connected to the Garmin 901 simultaneously.

    I run my OCM5 on my 6 max with their OTB 5/8x24 mount without any issues. As far as getting gassed out, it's actually worse on my mk12 than the 6 max. Need to swap charging handles to see if that has anything to do with it.

    Ok can confirm this works now. Must have been something new in the updates because I couldn't get this to work in the past. Vector X binos connect under the Applied ballistics tab and kestrel connects under the "other" tab. Could only get the kestrel to connect while in PC/Mobile connection...

    Yes, it pulls the atmospherics from a kestrel, but not the binos. connected binos will only send range, DOF and inclination, nothing more. They will also NOT send a firing solution, that comes from the profile on the 901. Same as if you had a kestrel connected straight to the binos.

    The binos only send range, DOF and inclination. Wind and atmospherics are entered into the 901 manually or with a kestrel, but you can only have one AB device connected at a time. The 901 is better than the 701 in many ways, like connecting them to your binos for one.

    No, it's legit. I shot a prs match with my mk12 for fun with the black arc 77's just to test them out. Average velocity was 2870 from an 18" barrel and the accuracy was on par with my mk 262 clones.

    I actually never turn Bluetooth on for the kestrel, I find it easier to just input the values manually on the 901 than messing with connecting.

For something like NRL it's best to manually update wind speed and direction before the stage on 901 with kestrel and have the vectors connected, so turn Bluetooth off on kestrel for the whole match.     No, in the case of connecting these to a garmin or kestrel the vectors only send range, DOF and inclination. The 901 will actually do the calculation. The connecting device must also have AB for them to communicate.

    I guess that changed with an update. Declination wasn't originally a menu option, nor is it in any of manuals or quick start guide. It is there now and magically knew my exact location (I never manually entered it).

I had to turn the "on" time of the furys to their max of 90 seconds and go through the menus and manually connect them before starting a stage...
