Re: Buttstock cheek rest/cartridge holder for 700P? Nice! I have one myself, shoots very well with iron sights. Only problem is the complete lack of surplus ammo. I ended up using PPU a lot, found cheap at gun shows. What'd you end up using?

Re: Buttstock cheek rest/cartridge holder for 700P? I haven't brought out my 700 to the range yet, but coming from a C&R crowd (M44 carbine shooting 762x54R with steel buttplate), I think the recoil cell pad is more than enough to make shooting comfortable It was more wondering why people...

What do you guys use? Also, does the added ammo in the cartridge holder (308 for my case) help with recoil at all? Thanks!
