I live in Quincy Oregon and have a couple places near for shooting out to 1600. They can be tough to find with the monoculture of tree reproduction around here.

Any 16-19" shorty 6.5 Creedmoor or 260rems out there?

I got a 17" Rem 700 in 6.5 Creedmoor from FireguyTy, (thanks). He said he got 2700 from 42 or so grains of H4350. I am using 41.3 gr. Of 4007ssc for 2545 fps. This unit sits in an older model Mcree folder. The barrel is a Rock creek 5R, with a 3-24 March mounted.I have not used it for 1000 yd...

If you have a very steady rest you can hang a tape and adjust the elevation turret and say you have a Mil scope and you hang the tape at 100 meters, when you adjust up 1.0 mil it should be 1 cm of movement of the crosshair on the tape. Better to go large amounts though, like 10.0 mil. And see if...

Two more components to check, accidental swap of a G1 in place of a G7 B.C. And do a double check on the actual click values of your scope by shooting and moving elevation a large amount.then measuring to see if the spacing on shots agree at the range you are shooting

I have a 56mm scope on my SRS with a total diameter of 66 mm using an Aadmount w/a height of 1.45'. This clears the rail about 2.5 mm (.10") and puts my cheek hard against a pretty unforgiving surface. This is a real weld that leaves a bone bruise reminder for a few days after 20 plus rounds...

    JDS Quickmeasure???

My first was a Lee and I still use it the most. Very fast, accurate, and always w/in 1 tenth of a grain up to about 50 grains and w/in 2 tenths to 95 or so. Which makes it super easy to trickle the last skoosh.

    unusual primer event

I figured if it happened to one guy it had happened quite a bit more. I got shit in my face once before when gas and cooper went the length of the bolt, and punched me in the eye and spent some time with an ophthalmologist. I am against it. Happy to be wearing glasses this time. Seems like a...

    unusual primer event

Yesterday while shooting an OCW test i had a Primer malfunction that I have not experienced before. The OCW test had nothing to do with the problem. The primer blew out just around the radius of the corner toward the pocket but just before it is in the supported area. probably .005" down from...
