Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

If you have a very steady rest you can hang a tape and adjust the elevation turret and say you have a Mil scope and you hang the tape at 100 meters, when you adjust up 1.0 mil it should be 1 cm of movement of the crosshair on the tape. Better to go large amounts though, like 10.0 mil. And see if...

Two more components to check, accidental swap of a G1 in place of a G7 B.C. And do a double check on the actual click values of your scope by shooting and moving elevation a large amount.then measuring to see if the spacing on shots agree at the range you are shooting

Official (DTA) SRS, HTI, Covert, Hunter Thread

I have a 56mm scope on my SRS with a total diameter of 66 mm using an Aadmount w/a height of 1.45'. This clears the rail about 2.5 mm (.10") and puts my cheek hard against a pretty unforgiving surface. This is a real weld that leaves a bone bruise reminder for a few days after 20 plus rounds...

    Very strange grouping.

You are going to have to explain this a lot better. Holes around the paper are hard to explain unless you enjoy humor or sarcasm.

    JDS Quickmeasure???

My first was a Lee and I still use it the most. Very fast, accurate, and always w/in 1 tenth of a grain up to about 50 grains and w/in 2 tenths to 95 or so. Which makes it super easy to trickle the last skoosh.

    unusual primer event

I figured if it happened to one guy it had happened quite a bit more. I got shit in my face once before when gas and cooper went the length of the bolt, and punched me in the eye and spent some time with an ophthalmologist. I am against it. Happy to be wearing glasses this time. Seems like a...

    unusual primer event

Yesterday while shooting an OCW test i had a Primer malfunction that I have not experienced before. The OCW test had nothing to do with the problem. The primer blew out just around the radius of the corner toward the pocket but just before it is in the supported area. probably .005" down from...

    Rifle Scopes IOR/Leuoold service contrast

The parts I have a problem with is the Wind River's cost 350.00 20 years ago and the substitute Cascades go for around 250.00-270.00 and they are a lot less user friendly, short depth of field, not nearly as quick to focus and the twist cups do not close out the light at the eye cups as well...

    Rifle Scopes IOR/Leuoold service contrast

I had two contrasting product service experiences lately. I sent an old pair of Wind River binos in or replacement eye cups that were fallen off. They decided to replace them with a pair of Cascades. No consultation. Said they no longer make/use anything bit twist ups now. A little disappointing...
