I have no clue what I could get for it. I’ve seen basically the same scopes sell over 1k but there was a slight difference in the turrets. 1/2 MOA clicks or something.
Great info thanks guys. Realistically I would like to be able to sell off the Leupold and pay for the new scope. Is that possible? No clue. I see price ranges all around but some of the Leupolds sold over $1k Which model Arken is the winner?
Yeah it’s just for paper shooting. I don’t compete. I know I could go bigger and better but I’m not looking to break the bank either. Seems like the Viper is a good value and there are some serious deals on them right now. What makes it outdated? If I could sell off the Leupold and fund the...
Hi guys and gals. Long time lurker here. I’m fighting myself over “upgrading” from my Leupold VXIII 3.5-10x40 LR/T illuminated mil dot reticle with M1 turrets. Seems like these scopes have a good reputation and from what I see for sale they hold their value well. The more I read the more I’m...
Re: knife advice requested p.s. like posted before. sharpening is a must no matter how abrasive resistant a steel. theperfectedge.com buy a few DMT continuous diamond stones. tell the owner i sent you. 325 is about all that's needed for everyday toothy edges. the diamond cuts fast enough...
Re: knife advice requested hope this help. i'm a custom knifemaker,(http://www.spanglercustomknives.com/Spangler_Custom_Knives/Welcome.html) if that means anything as far as my input goes. for 1k you can get a lot of knife, especially fixed blade. i would look for something in 110V if...
Re: New guy looking in to options for my 700 pss thanks okie, i'll look into it a bit more. i still have some reading and researching to do. the more i read the more i realize i'll have to settle on some items for now. looks like the LTR runs about $400 more than the SPS-T could a...
Re: New guy looking in to options for my 700 pss i think i'm leaning towards the 700 SPST or maybe an SPR. what do you guys think about the SPR vs the 700? the SPR gives me the safety i want, stock i want, and DBM. (until i know enough to be picky) is there a big draw back to controlled...
Re: New guy looking in to options for my 700 pss I think the ltr would put me in the same boat as the p. Extra $ for a stock that I would want to get rid of anyway. Are there any other advantages to the ltr other than the stock and fluted barrel?
Re: New guy looking in to options for my 700 pss yeah i think thats the way to go. the rum is nice, and recoil with the brake is barely more than my father's MA1. i only have a 500 yard range, and can't hunt with rifles in MA, so it's pretty much overkill, it's a waste of gun for my...
Re: New guy looking in to options for my 700 pss so am i better off going with the rem and having a pretty standard small block chevy of the bolt action rifle world? or to go with the SPR? which looks like a pretty bad ass gun. though i live in MA, so i'll have to check regulations on whats'...
