    Re: U.S.S causing discharge...any easy fixes? I don't own a USS but it sounds like if you take a little off the stock it would work like normal. I know from experience i put a Jewell trigger in my rifle and it wouldn't work right until i took a little off the stock. it worked flawlessly...

    Re: 700 trigger...Jewell? Jewell is the way to go. Its a drop in replacement with very little work if any to make it fit. I have mine set at 1 pound and love it. Plus its adjustable from 1.5 ounces to 3 pounds by swapping out the springs

    Re: 300 RUM My buddy has a 700p 300 RUM and it shoots awesome. It has no brake on it and it doesn't kick as bad as I thought. At 500 yards with factory Remington load we shot less that .25 MOA group with a 1lb Jewell on it.

    Re: New Rifle the rings are extremely tall, the base of the objective is 11/16 off the barrel. I plan on getting a one piece base and some new rings when i figure out exactly what i need to lower it within an 1/8 of the barrel. and also when i get a little cash, 35mm rings are expensive.
