Thanks for the reply. I was actually able to find a pair of lows locally, and measured them so they worked fine. I am running a egw 20 M base and a swfa 12x42. Plenty of room, wish I could get it lower though.

How do you measure the burris xtr rings? I have a pair that are too high and i am not sure exactly where they measure them. I tried to search for a cutsheet on them but no luck. I assume that it is from the top of the rail to the bottom of the scope but I hate to order twice and return once...

Finally got my SS12X42 today. It seems to have real nice glass for the money. Also found my hidden stash of ammo, 13 boxes in the bottom of a file cabinet. Thought I shot it all. Well now I am going to have to wait till about thursday to see how it performs.
