I just use Lapua brass and have never had an issue with seating primers and always maintain sub MOA groups usually .3MOA, 90 grain Lapua bullets give best groups in my 1 in 10 twist.
Narrowed my choices down to two-Thunder Beast 30P-1 and SAS 7.62 Arbiter. Anyone out there have both with side by side comparison ? I have only shot the SAS unit. Suppressor will be used on a .308 bolt gun and a 6x45 AR for tactical matches. Any input would be appreciated.NFA trust is complete...
I have the 10s and love them both for hunting and tactical matches. Bright sun light limits the max range but in most cases you can range to over 1K yards.
Is setting a zero distance beyond 100 yards better for tactical matches and a dope chart and using hold overs rather than clicking. Mil/Mil scope with FFP and even at 20x there is over 5 mils showing on the crosshair that will get out to 850 yards with the loads used. It seems most targets are...
Match was great fun. First day was calm and the movers were fun to shoot at. The positions were challenging and the weather was fine. Match is well run and I recommend it to all interested.
I opened the feed lips to .412 with a ball end burr. How did you put a spacer in front with the full length springs in the mag box? The spring in the accurate mag fits all across the mag. Thanks, Fred
Help, anyone know of a source of .223 flat magazine springs that can be modified to fit in 10 round AI mags to function with a 6mm BR round. The AICS 10 round polymer mags only hold 7 6mm BR rounds. The springs in the 10 round .308 are to long to add a spacer in the rear for reliable feeding.
Re: Ruger77/22-...who here has one I made my 77/22 a project gun and bedded it in a 700 REM stock, rebarreled with a heavy barrel and put a mil mil scope with 20 MOA base and shoot to 300 yds. If you have the time and desire cost is minimal.
When seating 175 NOS CC bullets I am getting up to .010 OAL differences. Cases are all trimmed to length and sized using a forster sizer with neck bushing. Haven't had this issue with 168 MK's. Is the seating stem to tight for the bullet profile? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Re: Leupold Mark 4 Spotting Scope Good scope. What reticle? I have mil dots and wished I had gotten the TMR because that is easier to range with at high power. Only warranty issues were torn eye cups,Leupold sent them right out. Enjoy.
