    I did the same. Last week I FF 100 rounds of Remington 280. Changed powder to RL 26 and RL 23. 26 gave blistering speeds and low numbers near max. 23 was very stable with mid 2900's. sd & es are acceptable now. All with 162 eldx and berger 168.

    Krob95, Just checking to see if you have made ant headway with your Ackley in regards to high numbers. I made some improvements in the recent past (yesterday) with mine. Accuracy is yet to be fine tuned, but my numbers went down.

    Krob, I weight sorted 150 pieces and lost over 30 due to that I annealed them again. No luck. I went to RL26 had some luck there, but not good enough to keep shooting it. I ordered 300 pieces of Remington brass and will FF that. It really can't get worse.

    Sorry for the slow response, was out of town hunting. I have not noticed pressure signs using Peterson. In my .260 I used the same H4350 charge with 136L Scenars. I did get about 60 FPS with the same charge and 1/4 inch better accuracy, but that part is probably me. With my .280AI I am only...

    I use Peterson Brass in my .260 and my .280 AI. I do get good numbers for the most part. I say most part as I am sure if I things aren't consistent, it is my fault. It is very solid brass and takes pressure well.
