And I do realize that 16" is not ideal for 1000 but I would like to stretch it out at times. My main concern is maneuverability. Boiler Up, if those are the velocities I can expect from the 260 then it looks like I wouldn't be gaining much if anything over the 308.

I am looking for some advice on loads for my new 243 Win. I would like to shoot 105s, maybe 115 if my 8 twist will stabilize that bullet. Figuring on probably shooting the 105 VLDs. Any reloading experience with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Sweet looking rig, the 18 in barrel looks good. I will also be hunting with mine and would like it to be as maneuverable as possible without giving up too much down range. Have to think about the trigger, part of me says just upgrade now and be done with it.

GAP 10 it is. Just have to decide on options and color. How good is the standard GAP trigger or should I upgrade to a geissele. I want to run suppressed so I know that I need the switch block and threaded barrel. Any thoughts on barrel length, majority of shooting will be inside 800 yards.

Speedster, do you own the tango 8. I'm a little Leary of a company so new, with the same claims that they make the best rifles. Also with no dealers in my home state it could be hard to get a hold of one.

What kind of accuracy are you getting from your scar and at what ranges.

I wish the GAP was piston driven but for what I will do with it maybe it doesn't matter. I probably will be just punching paper at home.
