DA uses temperature and absolute pressure. Altitude doesn't matter. With a 2500 you'd set your reference altitude to zero. With the models that calc DA the reference altitude doesn't matter, it's just using absolute pressure for the calc.

The 2500 won't do a Density Altitude calculation, but it will give you the data you need for a ballistic calculator like Ballistic AE (except humidity, but that doesn't matter much for shooting). It's more of a pain to have to enter things manually though. If you have the cash the 4500 is the...

Sorry folks, I haven't been on the site in a while and I've let this slide. The good news is that I've put the app back on the website for download and use (though the website itself still isn't up). The bad news is that the iOS version is dead, it's just too much of a hassle for me right now...

I was thinking of writing an app that was more range card-ish than what's out there. But it's hard to beat paper!

Re: rear bag or mono pod ??? I use both, together. The monopod lets me use a smaller bag. Pod for gross adjustments, bag for quick fine adjustments.

Re: Ballistic AE .. what is it missing that you want.. If you've got your units set to .1 mRad then the HUD shows you how many of those you'll need, so that's 4.3 mil. If you want the HUD to just show 4.3, set your units to whole mRad. At least I think that's what's going on in your case.
