I shoot a Rem 700 .308 with a B&C stock. and 24" barrel. Conditions....It was windy about 15-20 mph winds at about 1/8 to 1/2...

    Finding the prefered ammo

    Twist rate for a R700 .308

I have a R700 in 308, it says the twist rate is 1:12 but i've read that some people have bought them with with a 1:10 even though it says 1:12 on the package. How do I tell what my twist rate is?

    X-Mark Pro Inconsistencies

I have the same problem with my Pro-X trigger. I could only get it down to 4#. Any suggestions on a good durable trigger? I was looking at a Jewell but heard that if they get any dust on it, it turns into a drama queen and won't please you.
