My post was in regards to some reloads and it not liking a specific bullet. All factory ammo i have fed it has been fine. I was just wanting to use a hybrid since it has been a proven bullet that can deal with quite a bit of jump due to the magazine choices available for this rifle.

I will need to look into these KAC mags you are talking about. I might try that piece of velcro out. I am thinking i can modify the feed lips on that lancer enough. If it doesnt work then bummer out 40 dollars.... but thats going to be much cheaper than having all these 140 hybrids staring me in...

I need to figure out some way to modify a follower so that it will kick the nose of the round up higher but will still grab the rim of the case to run the action.

With the lancer hybrid and a bit of channel lock modification of the feed lips it would work.... ish but you had to hold it there so it doesnt really work in a practical sense. Wouldnt work with a hex mag or a p mag though.

Anyone here think that the 3 pieces of rail to go on this already expensive spotter outrageous? 254 dollars for 3 pieces of rail that i just want to mount a level on. Does anyone know of a similar rail that would work on this spotter?

I used the RRS Vyce on easter but i would very much like a Q-sert to arca swiss so i dont have to pack around the vyce. The RRS tripod is amazing though!

New bolt handle options are going to be limited because they will need to fit in the folding stock.

I put a bit of grease on those roller bearings on the back end of the striker and that seemed to help the bolt lift out quite a bit. I think this is going to be like my desert tech and i will just run it like i stole it.

Man i went the kahles route on my SRS, Just log the chance in zero from one conversion to the other in your dope book and its easy as pie. If you are going to do it alot i have just dialed the zero change and used the AMR reticle if i wanted to just verify some dope.

So i got to get out and run it yesterday. After about 60 rounds of break in and getting it zeroed it was shooting 5 shot groups about 5/8-3/4 moa with factory prime 130 that was left in a hot pickup for most of last summer. Bolt lift was a little hard on a few rounds but I blame that on poor...
