    Was it virgin brass? I had this issue with a different action when using virgin alpha brass and 450s. Once the brass was once fired I didn’t have issues. My solution was to use 205m’s they’re a little softer.

    two things you can try to get the back on the follower higher by opening the first section of the spring that has the apex towards the front of the follower. If raising the back of the follower doesn’t work. Try adjusting the feed lips to get the rear of the case higher

    Agreed. I had an elite and was planning on picking up another elite but i decided to get a Samson. I like them both equally. I say get two different setups, you’ll have fun. You can only shoot one gun at a time. You’ll probably learn some stuff shooting two different rifles too.
