Re: Stock Torque Specs Hmmm, I'm not sure if Marlin and Savage use different torque specs, but I thought that Savage says to torque to 18 in lbs for their action screws.

Re: New MarkII TR and target Stock is a painted laminate stock from Boyds. For the most part a great stock, only thing I don't like is how weak the inleting is at the front take down screw.

Re: New Toy: Savage TRSR I'm not the OP but there is a Lipseys exclusive model called the TRSR that is threaded and without the TRR Rail. I think that Savage just updated their website in the last month or so to include the new model with the TRR rail and threaded barrel.

Re: Scope mount recommendations for Sav MII TR I prefer the DIP base which used to be sold thru Rimfire Technologies but he now has his own website. Someone did a review comparing the two (EGW vs DIP) not to long ago.
