Get your 10/22 going. You can get new barrel , stock and other items for less than $600.00. Maybe even a nice scope included with that 600.00. You will be able to compete no problem , plus have a very very accurate hunting gun. Only way to go in my opinion. MD
What did you say to the gunsmith when you picked it up ? What was his reply ? These kind of things should be addressed right at the shop the moment you picked it up and inspected the rifle. MD
Why would we see old prices ? The American way now a days is manipulate prices any way you can on every product. We are 2 years into Covid and still Ammo companies will not increase production by buying more equipment and or hiring more employees. Profit margin is unbelievable on ammo. Coming...
Buy any 700.00 AR15 rifle. Than take the barrel off and sale it for $70.00. Then put 250.00 with it and buy a white oak barrel. It will shoot under 1 inch with factory ammo. That’s what I did. MD
Looking for some one that is smarter than me that can answer my question. The sightron III 10-50x60 has a total of 50 MOA. If That helps on the math. I am just not smart enough to figure out the math if I can zero at 50 or 100 and if not what ? Thanks. Marty
I am just starting to set up a RUGER 10-22LR for long range shooting. I bought a 50 moa rail about a month ago because it was such a good deal. I have a Sightron III 10-50x60 scope I want to use on the gun with Federal Bulk Blue Box ammo , 38 gr at 1240 fps. Question.... I am not smart enough...
I have hyper-fire triggers on AR15 223 and a Er-Shaw AR-10 6.5 creedmoor. I think they are the smoothest triggers out there. I live 2 hrs from Brownells and the retail store has 35 triggers of different brands and models all set up on a 2 x10 board. You can pull the trigger on each one and make...
I have a ER-SHAW AR10 in 6.5 creedmoor. 24 inch SS barrel , with a sightron 10-50X60 scope. It’s a heavy beast but lays theM in there. I just don’t shoot it much. But it is a great shooter with factory ammo. 7/8 groups at 100 yards all day long. I paid $1040.00 new out the door 3 years ago for...
Shooters needs to stay in his or her budget. Plus now a days with very little reloading supplies and very little factory ammo and it will continue for 4 years I think. You can buy a nice Savage or Ruger That will shoot MOA with factory Ammo. If you reload you can get it to maybe 3/4 inch...
I have 1 AR10 in a 6.5 cm and 6 AR15 rifles. I made a mistake. I have 6 to many. You can only shoot 1 at a time. Save your money and buy more ammo and spend your time on learning to shoot real long distance. Demo‘s will take them from me or tax me so Much I can not keep them. MD
Thanks for the info. Sounds like the Bog Pod Death Grip is marginal. I think I better go with a better quality. My rifles are 8 to 15 pounds each loaded. MD
I have the OLDER style Bog Pod Tripod. It has a YOKE I place my coyote guns in ( both AR15 and Bolt guns ). I have used it at night with my D760 night vision scope. It has worked well for me at night because i have a little more freedom at night if i want to take it out of the yoke and make a...
For me I want the tallest turret I can find. For me I put a Custom label on them and the taller the better because I can ad more rows of moa numbers. The older I get the harder it is to remember we’re i am at on the moa number. I wish I could buy a scope that had moa numbers printed 1 through...
