    Load for 308 match short throat ??

    I'm trying to find a load for a match 308win short throat with 1/10 twist 8 groove. Does a short throat require using lite bullets like the 155 or 168? I havn't had much luck so far with the 175smk..

    Rifle Scopes Scope for a M1A

    Re: Scope for a M1A Sean,I have had good success with my rifle out to 1000yds.The 308 can tend to get funky after around 900 yds with 168 gr bullets, I and many others have had good success with 175 smk. I'm using a Shepherd P2 3X10X40 on mine.. Just my 2 cents... Good luck my your build....

    Re: 7saum Load data? Hodgdon shows a 175 gr load with Retumbo 66.0c. But nothing for a 162gr. Havn't found much on RL25 below 175gr either.. Trying to find a cheaper load to shoot than the 180gr Bergers with the powders listed above.The amax was looking good,.625bc @ $30.00 per 100 vs Bergers...
