I have an AI Chassis system for a long action Remington. The problem I am having is that the lever that locks the magazine into the mag well is too short. It leaves way too much play in the magazines. In order to fix the problem I am looking for someplace to purchase a magazine catch lever...
As an update, I got a reply back from Leupold and my M3 that was purchased used in 2001 is new enough that they can do the switch over. Not sure what year it was actually manufactured and they didn't say.
You might be a bit careful. I have an older MK4 M3 that is mil reticle with MOA clicks. A previous thread on here, which I believe you were posting on, mentions having Leupold switch out the MOA knobs for MIL knobs. I dropped them a note and asked about doing that for my M3. The initial reply I...
I took a look at the product. Almost exactly the opposite of what I am looking for. I want to have a flat bottom, not make the opening bigger. Any other possibilities?
I bought one of the basic AI Chassis systems for my Remington Long Action rifle a couple of years ago. It is the older style. I am wondering if there are any alternatives for switching out them skins? It would be nice to get a skin that has a flat bottom style to work better with a rice sock...
I read the book in one sitting a few months ago. Watched the Blueray yesterday evening. Had a tough time watching because I knew all four of those guys are going to get hurt really bad and all but one are going to die (the name is "Lone Survivor"). Great movie but tough to watch cause I really...
I saw an article where Tommy Lee Jones screened his new movie "The Homesman" at the Cannes film festival. It appears to be a Western with some good possibilities. Tommy Lee Jones' new film 'The Homesman' is critical of Native Americans | Fox News Supposedly it is being released in the USA...
It is definitely NOT true. Look no further than Palma shooters if you want to know how well longer barreled 308 rifles shoot. The longest Palma barrel I remember was 32". Not saying there haven't been longer but 32" is the longest I personally saw at a match. I converted my old Palma rifle to a...
The skinny little prick killed off my favorite whore and pissed off his grandpa. Guess which one is more likely to get him stuck in a deep dark dungeon cell? Honestly, even though I hate him passionately, I do think the actor has done an outstanding job of portraying what George R Martin...
The problem with (almost) all of the non-adjustable stocks is getting the proper cheek weld while firing the weapon. You can do the old standby military method of foam and duct tape but it looks scabbed together. With regards to the trigger, factory Remington's just don't adjust light enough...
Gotta admit, I binge watched it over the weekend. Absolutely outstanding. In retrospect I sure wish they would release one episode a month cause my will power is just not up to their choice to release 12 episodes at the same time. I did go back and watch season 1 last week so I wouldn't forget...
