Appreciate the feedback and you sharing your experiences with the March! The more that get into the wild the more people are going to see just how fantastic this optic actually is.

Rifle Scopes March 5-42 Gen 2 PRS Edition

That sets the zero stop, in the normal shuriken turret on the non prs model there’s a locking mechanism around that raised area.

Rifle Scopes March 5-42 Gen 2 PRS Edition

While the shuriken locking is awesome on the prs model we did remove the locking mechanism entirely (turret is still the same internally) simply because it’s one more thing the prs shooter doesn’t use or need. The running joke in prs is there are two types of prs shooters who use locks in...

Rifle Scopes March 5-42 Gen 2 PRS Edition

we have heard from shooters over and over already that the March absolutely does better handling mirage than other optics do. I heard no less than 4 times this past weekend about stages at twisted barrel match that guys couldn’t make out targets clearly that the March could the mirage was so...

Rifle Scopes March 5-42 Gen 2 PRS Edition

Thanks for the feedback on the scope, this is an example of not everyone’s eyes are the same and glass is such a personal experience. Some other prs guys have said the zco seems saturated and “brighter” as you describe but the march on overall clarity was better in his opinion and thought the...

Rifle Scopes March 5-42 Gen 2 PRS Edition

At no point did I say the eyebox is tight on the 5-42 prs edition, because it isn’t plenty of folks have used it without issue. I also wasn’t comparing it to the 4.5-28 because it is not the same optic and are completely different design.

Rifle Scopes March 5-42 Gen 2 PRS Edition

You’d be completely wrong as they are completely different designs… but you’re right I did in fact know that.. you maybe not so much. Apples to oranges

Rifle Scopes March 5-42 Gen 2 PRS Edition

Good thing that’s a completely different scope than the scope being discussed here, but of course you already knew that.

Rifle Scopes March 5-42 Gen 2 PRS Edition

The overall FOV on the kahles 540 is more than the March. The March is 26 degrees and the kahles is 29.8 degrees. @25x mag Kahles = 10mil each way (20mil total) March = 8.6 mil each way (17.2mil total) The relationship between FOV and eyebox is directly linked. The more ocular angle the...

Rifle Scopes New for 2025, the Kahles K540i

My comment back to will wasn’t an attack, at least it wasn’t intended for come off that way. I honestly try to be very level headed in comments and discussions so that’s a shame I came off that way for all involved that wasn’t the intent. As for being letter than theta or zco I’ll agree to...

Wait so you mean March did wide angle lenses first? ;)

Rifle Scopes New for 2025, the Kahles K540i

Bud I do not post my opinions here because my opinion is in fact bias by the very nature of my affiliation and being the creator of the reticle and the person behind virtually all the design decision changes for the prs edition March outside of the optical formula. My opinion will literally...
