Review: ZCO 840 versus March 5-42x PRS Edition

Sorry for the confusion, depth of view which is how forgiving the parallax is which matters a ton on prs is very good on the March and you’ll have virtually one setting past 400 to 1000 yards depending on the individuals eyes and settings. However introducing magnification changes in that while...

Review: ZCO 840 versus March 5-42x PRS Edition

You do realize changing magnification range in any optical system actually changes lenses position and thus effects parallax. There is literally no optic on the market that isn’t affected by changing magnification while something is parallaxed that’s how magnification, optics, and eyeballs work.

Review: ZCO 840 versus March 5-42x PRS Edition

The non prs model optically is the same as the prs model, the turrets have different markings, different feel in tactility than the prs model, have locking options and also have illumination. What we found was virtually no one used illumination in prs which is what the optic is specifically...

Review: ZCO 840 versus March 5-42x PRS Edition

Rifle Scopes School me on Magnification between brands. March PRS

The FOV between the March 5-42 and the ZCO 5-27 is actually quite significant and will make targets feel smaller but the mag ranges are virtually identical between the brands on top tier optics.

Rifle Scopes School me on Magnification between brands. March PRS

The March has better turrets, higher resolution glass, more FOV, and additional features that just aren’t present in the ZCO. It’s been said before and it’ll continue to be said as more and more people see and get behind the March. The March PRS edition has some of the best prs shooters in the...

Review: ZCO 840 versus March 5-42x PRS Edition

March and I spent an incredible amount of time talking about and improving on the turrets so it’s good to hear the feedback. Hundreds of different combinations were looked at in springs and detents to get there.

Review: ZCO 840 versus March 5-42x PRS Edition

I’m bias but here’s what we have heard from shooters who now own March scopes that had Kahles, this is not my direct opinion alone but also supported by shooters who have engaged with both. Glass - Is better in the March and mirage cutting is superior to the Kahles, generally most have said...

It’s been awesome to see, thank you for the feedback and support...

    March PRS Scope review.

Thought this video might help others! Keith Glasscock is a very well known fclass champion and a respected shooter who’s stepped into prs and had this to say about the March.

Rifle Scopes March 5-42 Gen 2 PRS Edition – FML-WBR or FML-MT? Seeking feedback from those who've switched from tree reticles

I am obviously bias… but FML-WBR has done very well already in prs matches and provides most shooters with what they need depending on how you shoot and execute stages. The evolution of how most shooters are shooting prs matches has become a mixture of dialing and holding deltas or simply...
