coverting Win 70 mag box
I have a '74 win 70 chambered in 22-250. I'm wanting to convert it to 284 Win. Is it possible to remove the spacer in the mag box cleanly or do I have to find a standard size (30'06)box? I appreciate any and all comments. Thanks.- Phil Bragg

Re: M70 Long Action chambered in Short Caliber Is there a way to fix the ejection cycle to where it won't make a inch long gash on the case? On my 22-250, no matter how I work my bolt fast, slow. or medium, it always scratches the case. I would like too go with a 284 Win and open the box up...- Phil Bragg
