Its a 223 with a 7 twist. I run the 80 amax at 2550. It's a factory manners stock I picked up used and cut the forend off. It's right at 16" with the can so the barrel is 12.5" with the brake.
trued up remy 700 pacnor 7 twist w/223 match chamber manners stock I bought used off the hide had to cut the fore end down to fit the short barrel surgeon bottom metal talley rings and bases it now wears a vortex 2.5-10 aac spr/m4 556 can
10" 223 with a 7 twist and AAC spr/m4. I run the 80 amax. I shoot this thing more than any other rifle I own. ruger 77/357 with liberty mystic can't remember the barrel length. 9" maybe. 230gr cast bullets out of 38spcl brass. Its my 300blk killer.
something like this will get you there. Titanium can, pencil barrel cut to 16", manners light weight stock, light weight rings and bases. Watch your scope weight some of them are pigs. Use a 5 round mag or run standard bottom metal. you could get exotic like a titanium action but the cost...
not a single feeding issue, very slick. room to spare in the mag. I'm jumping them. I easily reach 600 yards without issue. I'm tempted to play around with the berger 90's. but from a cost standpoint the 80amax is impossible to beat.
The PRS tripod is a great piece of kit but using it as a stand-alone tripod to clamp a heavy 15+lb rifle in is not optimum. If you don't mind the weight you can buy some pretty inexpensive tripods that will hold a heavy rifle with less wobble. Notice I didn't say eliminate wobble.
