I agree. There will be heavy emphasis on fundamentals and proper gear setup and recognition. I am worried about cramming. I have incorporated range e and UKD shooting into the class, but not the other stuff mentioned. I think we are on the same page. I will give a brief spotting trace...

Alright, so I'm interested in everyone's feedback on this - both beginners and skilled shooters. What constitutes "advanced marksmanship", or I guess I mean where does one draw the line between basic and advanced marksmanship? I'm going to be teaching a basic precision rifle course pretty soon...

Well there are PDA's with the Horus Atrag software as well as the Kestrel with the Atrag software. But those are examples. I am just trying to see if these mobile apps are comparable to the PDA/Kestrel software in terms of accuracy and reliability. I have used PDA's and the Horus Kestrel...

In addition to most of the stuff listed, I always have a calculator. I like to keep my range estimation skills sharp. I don't always like relying on LRF's and such.

In my personal experience, when shooting opposite hand it forces you to realllllly focus on what you are doing, properly applying the fundamentals and really trying. When we shoot dominant hand, we tend to fall to our training scars and make minor mistakes that we just simply don't pay attention...

I have my own holster business. I made a press with some furniture wood (plywood would be fine) and some dense foam from usaknifemaker.com I use a toaster over to heat my kydex and a heat gun to control retention and roll the edges. PM me if you need any more info. Be glad to help.
