    MRGG-A (6.5 CM) vs 6 ARC?

I agree a lighter weight bullet in a 14.5 Mrgg-a would be a great performer as long as the guns not an overweight hog.

Geissele MRGG-S adopted by USSOCOM in 6.5 CM.

Do you happen to know the weights they are shooting for with the Mrgg-a program?

Geissele MRGG-S adopted by USSOCOM in 6.5 CM.

Good to know. I’m waiting for Geissele to release the Mrgg, but it’s hard to ignore the gfr in terms of practicality, and they seem to be holding up well. Odds are I’ll end up getting both. Expensive times….

Geissele MRGG-S adopted by USSOCOM in 6.5 CM.

Has anyone broken a geissele bolt yet? Im curious to how they are holding up. Maybe the mrgg-a will kill the 6 arc for military use but the weight savings can't be ignored imo.

    Surefire ICAR

25 cal really is the goldilocks caliber for weight, recoil, and ballistic performance. Someone just needs to take advantage of it now.

7-08 vs 7 SAW vs 7CM vs ? for Large Frame

A 7 SWC slinging 180 eld-ms would be a long range monster out of an ar-10...

Would you get into 6.5 Grendel in 2024?

I know the 6 arc alpha brass can handle some ridiculous pressures, I'm sure this will apply for the 6.5 Grendel as well.

    Surefire ICAR

I wonder how fast a 25 Grendel with a 2.5 coal could spit out a 131 ace with an alloy case. Probably would be a Goldilocks round in terms of weight/performence

    Federal does it again 😅

These weren’t shell shock cases, but cases made out of whatever alloy federal is using. 3200 fps with a 64 grain bullet and 14.5 inch barrel. It’s on their Instagram. Not sure if federal is going to be producing those or if it’s a proof of concept type deal. Shell shock cases are nice tho.

    Federal does it again 😅

It's a great concept for hunting where weight and length are so important as long as there is enough availability. Geissele also showing off alloy 556 cases and showing a legacy ar shooting that with basically no difference in ejection pattern shows that there also may be some potential with...

    MRGG-A (6.5 CM) vs 6 ARC?

I’m kinda torn between the two tbh. They both have their pros and cons. I’m slightly leaning towards an Mrgg-a type rifle if the weight isn’t to high. I’m hoping Geissele releases theres sometime soon. Either way it’s a good problem to have when he got so many options.

    NEW- Geissele King Hunter

I’m talking about their initial run. They’ll make more than 50, I'm mostly talking this run with 7 backcountry. I’m assuming they come out with more caliber choices eventually. Albeit Geissele doesn’t seem to put out a ton of numbers in their more niche products for example I’ve been trying to...

    NEW- Geissele King Hunter

Well back to the main point. Since Geissele only made 50 I bet their main target is mainly collectors/brand bandits looking to buy Geisseles first ever bolt gun. I’ve heard very good things about geisseles cut rifle barrels so I bet it’ll shoot the hair off a flys ass but it’s a lil heavy for a...

    NEW- Geissele King Hunter

I’m happy someone is bringing this up. It always kinda surprises me when people have trouble understanding why a certain demographic thinks a certain way or like in this example would be interested in purchasing this item. The traveling city hunter is a good example you bring up. Bigger...

    Federal does it again 😅

2850 with a 195 Berger out of a 20 inch barrel is nothing to sneeze at especially, out of an 06 sized case. This cartridge is really only useful for hunters but if it can be reloaded relatively easily I could see it having some success. One thing to think about with this tech is increased...
